A compact substation integrates the transformer, medium voltage (MV) switchgear, and low voltage (LV) distribution board into a single, weatherproof enclosure that is assembled, wired, and fully tested at the factory before despatch. When it arrives on site, the only requirement is civil foundation, cable termination, and energisation. The commissioning time measured in days rather than weeks.
KLR Compact Substations are designed, assembled, and tested at our Pashamylaram facility. The integrated transformer is manufactured to the same BIS and IS standards as our standalone distribution transformer range. The MV and LV panels are configured to project specification. The complete assembly is routine-tested as a unit before despatch — giving the project team a single point of accountability for the entire substation package.
